How to Calculate Seed Spacing
The seed spacing calculator can be used to calculate imperial (inches) or metric (centimetres) units. Knowing the seed spacing is important for both farming and gardening. The spacing of the seeds will depend on the plant's characteristics and environment.
Where :
- Row Spacing : can be measured in inches (in) or centimetres (cm) depending on the choice of the user. Row Spacing is the distance between each row of seeds in a garden bed, garden or field.
- Number of Plants per Row : Represents the number of plants in a given row. Each plant may have different spacing factors such as recommended spacing, growth or plant size.
